4-Way Roll - Static Ball Control Drills for U10-U11

This drill builds on the Roll Toe (Static Ball Control Drills for U8-U9), Roll Out (Static Ball Control Drills for U8-U9), Roll Toe Heel (Static Ball Control Drills for U8-U9) and Roll In (Static Ball Control Drills for U8-U9).

When starting with the right foot:

(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)

  1. Stand behind the ball (ball before right foot).
  2. Step on the ball with the right foot.
  3. Perform 2x a Roll Toe.
  4. Perform 2x a Roll Out.
  5. Perform 2x a Roll Toe Heel.
  6. Perform 2x a Roll In.
  7. Continue steps 3-6.

Things to watch out for:

  1. Reposition the support foot depending on the roll being executed.
  2. Jump on the support foot in the same rhythm.
