Drag Roll Turn Tip Touch - Static Ball Control Drills for U12-U13

This drill builds on:
- Drag Roll (Static Ball Control Drills for U8-U9)
- Tip Touch (Static Ball Control Drills for U8-U9)
- Shuffle Drag Roll (Static Ball Control Drills for U10-U11)
- Drag Roll Turn 180° (Static Ball Control Drills for U10-U11)
When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind the ball (the ball close and between both feet).
- Perform a Drag Roll Turn 180° with the right foot.
- Perform a Tip Touch with the right foot to pull the ball to the left foot.
- Perform a Drag Roll Turn 180° with the left foot.
- Perform a Tip Touch with the left foot to shift the ball to the right foot.
- Continue steps 2-5.
Things to watch out for:
- Don't stand rigid on the legs but flex the knees a bit.
- The Drag Roll Turn should be a fluid motion.
- After the Drag Roll Turn, the forefoot should be nicely on top of the ball and below your knee.
- Release your weight and lift your heel from the ground while turning. Don't twist your ankles!
