Tutorial
When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind the ball (ball in front of left foot and 45° angle).
- At the same time:
- Roll the ball forward from toe to heel with the left foot.
- Jump on the support foot (right).
- At the same time:
- Roll the ball backwards from heel to toe with the left foot.
- Jump on the support foot (right).
- At the same time:
- Turn 90° to the left.
- Stop the ball with the inside of the left foot.
- At the same time:
- Roll the ball forward from toe to heel with the right foot.
- Jump on the support foot (left).
- At the same time:
- Roll the ball backwards from heel to toe with the right foot.
- Jump on the support foot (left).
- At the same time:
- Turn 90° to the right.
- Stop the ball with the inside of the right foot.
- Continue step 2-7
Things to watch out for:
- Don't stand rigid on the legs but flex the knees a bit.
- Stay in the same area while doing the drill.
- Maintain a 90° angle.
- Keep the rolling foot straight and level during the rolls.
- Turn the hips open while turning and reposition the support foot.
- Stay in the rhythm with the support foot.
