Tutorial
When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind the ball and put the right foot on the ball.
- Pull the ball backwards.
- Turn the body slightly to the right and reposition the left foot to make the necessary space.
- Push the ball with the outside of the laces of the right foot with a 90° angle.
- Reposition the left foot and perform a step on with the right foot.
- Pull the ball backwards.
- Jump forward with the left foot in order to make space while at the same time kicking the ball sideways behind the left foot with the inside of the right foot.
- Turn your body to the left.
- Perform a step on with the right foot.
- Repeat continuously from step 1-9.
Things to watch out for:
- Don't stand rigid on the legs but flex the knees a bit.
- Make sure there is plenty of room for the ball to pass behind the support foot and when taking the ball after the turn.
- Don't move forward or backward while doing the drill. Try to stay on the same imaginary line.
