Shuffle Take Stop Skip - Static Ball Control Drills for U10-U11

This drill builds on:
- Shuffle (Static Ball Control Drills for U6-U7)
- Shuffle Stop Skip (Fast Footwork Drills for U8-U9)
- Shuffle Stop Take Stop Skip (Fast Footwork Drills for U8-U9)
When starting with the right foot:
(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)
- Stand behind the ball (the ball close and between both feet).
- Shuffle 3 times (uneven and starting with the right).
- Take the ball with the laces of the left foot.
- Close in on the ball.
- Stop the ball with the left foot by means of a step-on.
- Skip the ball with the right foot which counts as the first part of the shuffle.
- Shuffle 2 times.
- Take the ball with the laces of the right foot.
- Close in on the ball.
- Stop the ball with the right foot by means of a step-on.
- Skip the ball with the left foot which counts as the first part of the shuffle.
- Shuffle 2 times.
- Continue steps 3-12.
Things to watch out for:
- Don't stand rigid on the legs but flex the knees a bit.
- Maintain a straight line.
- Emphasize the last touch during the shuffle (tick tick TICK) to facilitate the take.
- Take the ball with the laces to be more precise.
- Shuffle in place starting with the skip.
- Start slow and increase the speed of execution step by step.
- The ball should always be on the move.
