When starting with the right foot:

(Switch left and right below when starting with the left foot)

  1. Stand behind the ball (ball in front of right foot.
  2. Pull the ball backwards with the right foot 2 (or 3) times in a row.
  3. At the same time:
    1. Reposition the right foot which becomes the support foot.
    2. Step on the ball with the left foot to stop it.
  4. Pull the ball backwards with the left foot 2 (or 3) times in a row.
  5. At the same time:
    1. Reposition the left foot which becomes the support foot.
    2. Step on the ball with the right foot to stop it.
  6. Continue step 2-5.

Things to watch out for:

  1. Maintain a straight line at all times.
  2. Reposition constantly to keep the ball at a straight line.
  3. Stay in the same rhythm.
  4. The same distance should be covered with every push.
  5. Don't stand rigid on the legs but bend the knees a bit.
  6. Keep the ball at a comfortable distance from the body.
